Ecglobal combines social media with gamification and insights tools to connect with consumers and understand their profiles, needs, desires and behaviour, blending social listening in communities with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

Its Haus platform engages in consumers’ daily lives through automation and data intelligence and is said to be able to quickly generate actionable insights, helping brands to fine-tune their messages and boosting return on investment.

Through the Ecglobal network of communities, marketing, innovation and customer and user expereince teams can develop concepts, upcoming innovations, experiences, positioning and communication. Similarly, researchers can generate strategic insights for marketing and branding departments.

Currently, Ecglobal has more than one million consumers on its platform, mainly from the Latin America region, and is expanding to other international markets. Its clients include the likes of Itaú Bank, Nestlé, Natura, BRF, HBO and Via.

Commenting on the merger, Bruno Caloi, mergers and acquisitions director at the Stefanini Group, said: “From the first contact, we realised that there was a great synergy between our companies, which will enable us to integrate the efficiency of Ecglobal software with the Stefanini DNA of innovation and excellence in service delivery.

“We envisage the possibility of expanding the Haus platform’s operations to other regions, with great cross-selling potential among customer bases. We currently have a flow of 20 companies under analysis and are always attentive to new technologies and skills to add to the Haus group’s offer.”

Ecglobal co-founder and co-chief executive Adriana Rocha added: “We are very happy to be part of the Stefanini Group. Together, we will have even greater power to scale our solutions and reach new countries with innovative customer experience/market research tools.

“With our engaged communities, we promote collaborative intelligence spaces between brands and consumers, which is in synergy with the purpose of the Stefanini Group, to co-create solutions for a better future.”
