Accenture agrees Founders Intelligence acquisition
The agreement will see Founders Intelligence’s 35 staff join Accenture’s innovation practice, and will help Accenture create and scale new business models and focus on innovation.
Founders Intelligence was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in London, focusing on strategy and growth plans for tech enterprises and FTSE 100 companies.
The acquisition follows the 2019 deals to buy innovation firm ?WhatIf! and digital ventures consultancy Bow & Arrow. In 2021, Accenture also acquired IT services company Trivadis AG, bringing the firm into Accenture’s cloud services division.
Rob Chapman, chief executive and co-founder of Founders Intelligence, said: “Being part of Accenture will provide enormous opportunities for our people and clients as we combine our entrepreneur-led growth approach with Accenture’s global innovation ecosystem and delivery capabilities.
“Rob Haines and I built Founders Intelligence to empower our entrepreneurial talent to have impact at large corporates and we’re thrilled to be able to do this at even greater scale.”
Lucy Cooper, innovation lead for Europe at Accenture, said: “Founders Intelligence’s venture-inspired approach and deep insights have garnered respect among C-suite leaders and will enhance our network of innovators that deliver significant value for our clients.”
