Alex Hunt leaves System1 in US
Hunt has been with System1 (formerly BrainJuicer) since 2009 when he joined the agency as vice-president based in Chicago. He joined from Kantar Millward Brown where he’d worked for more than seven years and was account group director when he left.
He was a member of System1’s board of directors. Most recently he has been based in New York and was responsible for leading all client facing teams at System1 Research, overseeing 14 offices in the US, UK, Europe, APAC and Latin America.
Hunt was one of the pioneers of System1’s FeelMore50 ranking of global advertising.
The management team now includes three in the US – Brent Snider, president North America, System1 Research; Jeff McDonald, senior vice-president South and Midwest; Bianca Prior, senior vice-president, Northeast; and Simon Wyld, senior vice-president, West Coast.
John Kearon, CEO, said: "On behalf of the board, management team and staff, I would like to thank Alex for his terrific contribution to the business and clients over the past nine years. He’s been a fantastically effective and tireless agent of change and while we are very sorry to see him go, he leaves with our gratitude and very best wishes."
Hunt said: "I’m terribly sad to leave System1 to start a new chapter. Growing the business has been an incredible journey over nine years and I feel an overwhelming debt of gratitude to all of our staff and clients. The System1 team have my full support and confidence and going forward I know they will enjoy every success."
