Cello posts strong first half results for 2014
Cello Health — which consists of Cello Health Insight, Cello Health Consulting, Cello Health Communications and Cello Health Consumer — was singled out for its performance.
The company said in its financial statement: “The client response has been very encouraging, and there has already been a notable increase in the value and quantity of projects that use more than one of the disciplines of Cello Health. These are incremental cross-Group projects that would not have been won without the launch of Cello Health.”
For Cello Health segmental gross profit increased by 13.4% to £19.7m. Like-for-like gross profit growth in the first half of 2014 was 7.1%. Operating profit rose to £4.2m.
Cello Signal, with its social media analytics product Pulsar, has grown rapidly and Pulsar now has more than 60 licensed clients.
Mark Scott, chief executive of Cello (pictured), said: “Both Cello Health and Cello Signal have performed strongly during the first six months and the business continues to expand globally in line with its stated strategy. The board remains confident of meeting full year expectations.”
The company bought healthcare comms agency iS Healthcare Dynamics in May 2014 for £5.8m which is now part of Cello Health.
