IAB president Rothenberg to lead Time Inc digital strategy

US— Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) president and CEO Randall Rothenberg is stepping down in January to join Time Inc as chief digital officer.

Rothenberg’s departure coincides with his fourth anniversary at the trade body. At Time, he will be responsible for strategy across the publisher’s editorial, advertising, content, technology, consumer marketing, legal, research and marketing services.

A search is underway at the IAB to find a replacement but in the meantime chief operating officer Patrick Dolan will act as the organisation’s leader. He will be supported by David Doty, chief marketing officer, Mike Zaneis, general council and Sherrill Mane, senior vice president of industry services.
