IRI appoints Ipsos’ Shea for growth role

US – Data, analytics and insights organisation IRI has hired Carrie Shea as managing partner of growth consulting for IRI Strategic Analytics.

Shea (pictured) was previously president and chief transformation officer of North America for Ipsos. She also co-founded and was the chief executive officer for Griffin Strategic Advisors, before it was bought by Acosta. Shea has also worked at Archstone Consulting, AT Kearney and The Cambridge Group.

In her new role, Shea will work with partners to advance IRI’s expanding growth consulting practice, which is focused on combining IRI granular data and advanced analytics with strategic thinking to identify sustainable and profitable organic and acquisition growth opportunities.

Krishnakumar (KK) Davey, president of IRI Strategic Analytics, said: “Her expertise in growth strategy consulting combined with IRI’s big data and technology will ensure her success in developing practical insights and actionable recommendations.”
