LRW acquires Salt Branding
San Francisco-based Salt joins LRW Group effective immediately and will operate as part of the company’s action division.
Founded in 2001 by Paul Parkin, David Neugebauer, and Rick Herrick, Salt’s client roster includes Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines and Disney.
The deal is the latest in a string of acquisitions for Tailwind Capital-backed LRW Group. Last week, the company announced it had bought strategic communications firm Karma Agency, and earlier in the year it acquired research and strategy consultancy Greenberg Strategy and visual communications agency Killer.
Dave Sackman, chairman and chief executive, LRW Group, said: “Salt is a key strategic addition to our roster of business and marketing services. With our most recent acquisitions, we’ve built a powerful infrastructure to translate insights into concrete and measurable actions.”
Paul Parkin, who will continue to serve as the company’s creative director, said: “At LRW Group, we see an opportunity to take our business to new heights. By working within the action division, we gain access to a broader range of business partners. Similarly, we can give existing and potential clients more direct access to strategic insights that can paint a clearer picture of steps they can take to grow their brands.”
