Parry (pictured) has been head of retail strategy and shopper insight at the company for just under a year. She has previously help senior management positions at Ipsos, TNS and dunnhumby.

She fills the role vacated by Johnny Caldwell, who left the company last month following the UK operation being made a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nepa AB.

Nepa’s ActionHub platform merges behavioural data with customer feedback data so its clients can turn the voice and the footprints of the consumer into financial KPI’s.

Cowan said: "One of my important tasks is to help retailers and consumer goods companies to understand the underlying reasons to the constantly changing behaviour of the consumers. What is ultimately driving purchase in this new online/offline world? Where should the investment be made? Based on ActionHub my colleagues and I can connect these insights with a business own KPI´s to fine-tune their business growth."
