Neustar hires Kober as CSO

US – Information services firm Neustar has appointed Brian Kober as senior vice-president and chief strategy officer.

Kober was previously chief enterprise transformation officer at the US subsidiary of Japanese construction and mining equipment manufacturer Komatsu, where he led global initiatives to optimise processes and operations and grow sales.

Prior to his time at Komatsu America, he held strategy and operational roles at Motorola and The Boston Consulting Group.

In his new role, Kober will focus on developing strategic choices to drive long-term growth for the business, reporting to Neustar president and chief executive Charles Gottdiener.

Gottdiener said: “Brian’s know-how and track record to deliver results and drive the fundamental processes critical to market success will serve us well in this phase of Neustar’s growth as a global information services business. We are fortunate to have Brian join our leadership team.”
