SurveyMonkey hires Cummiskey for EMEA enterprise role

US – DIY market research business SurveyMonkey has appointed Joe Cummiskey as senior director of enterprise sales in EMEA.

Based in Ireland, Cummiskey (pictured) will build and lead SurveyMonkey’s sales organisation across EMEA as part of its growth strategy and investment in expanding its international footprint and accelerating enterprise sales.

He will hire and oversee a growing team of sales and business development managers out of Dublin.

Before joining SurveyMonkey, Cummiskey was responsible for leading international sales departments at Google and Facebook. As head of sales for the Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan business for Facebook, he launched its agency programme in Turkey and Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining Facebook, Cummiskey held various roles in Google’s Dublin headquarters building the company’s European operations, with a focus on emerging markets and the Middle East.

John Schoenstein, chief sales officer at SurveyMonkey, said: “Joe has more than a decade of experience scaling global sales organisations for top technology companies, and I’m thrilled that he will be joining our team.”
