UK home working level dips
The proportion of working adults working exclusively from home has decreased to 20%, compared with a high point of 38% between 11th-14th June, the most recent Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (OPN) found.
Additionally, the proportion of working adults who had travelled to work reached 57%, the highest level since the ONS began the series.
Data was collected from 26th-30th August.
The government was set to launch a public information campaign today ( 4th September) encouraging workers to return to offices, but it has reportedly been postponed.
Data from the ONS’ Business Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19 ) Survey also found that 11% of the workforce remain on furlough leave.
