Porter (pictured), who has previously held chief revenue officer and chief commercial officer roles at GBG and Defaqto, joins Vypr with a remit to lead customer growth in the UK and internationally.

The business secured a £2.5m investment in 2021 and appointed a new chief executive in October 2023. It works with clients in sectors including retail, food and drink, health and beauty and automotive.

Users of Vypr’s platform can test initial concepts and aspects including product names, branding, packaging, pricing and marketing messages, for online and in-store products, via a panel of UK consumers via smartphone.

Vypr’s consumer insight is currently available in the UK, France and Germany.

Chris Williams, chief executive, Vypr, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Glenn. His experience scaling commercial operations in tech and data businesses globally sets us up perfectly for the next step of our growth journey.”
