2020 Research Live Awards open for entries
There are eight categories in the Research Live Awards, which highlight business effectiveness and celebrate agency and client-side success.
The Research Live awards judging panel, chaired by Research Live and Impact editor Katie McQuater, will decide on the winners of seven categories based on submitted entries. These are: Agency of the Year, Best Place to Work, Breakthrough Business of the Year, Business Impact of the Year – Global, Business Impact of the Year – UK, In-house Team of the Year and Young Researcher of the Year.
The Innovation of the Year category will be judged at a separate Dragon’s Den-style session, with finalists presenting their entry to a panel.
In addition to the Research Live awards categories, the MRS awards, which focus on research effectiveness, have 14 categories including the newly added award for Inclusive Research (MRSpride Award), Applications of Research and Cultural Insights (Virginia Valentine Award).
Jane Frost, chief executive, MRS, said: “This current crisis is at least proving the value of research. Awards are a vital showcase to the world of our sector at its best and we are going to need to showcase more than ever. We know that winning our awards generates new business, but as importantly, we need to say thank you to our talent and make a statement of confidence in the future.”
The early bird deadline for entries is 29th May and the final deadline is 6th July 2020. All winners will be announced at the annual MRS Awards ceremony, taking place in December.
