Accenture completes German data management firm acquisition
The acquisition, which was first announced in July and has now been completed, will support Accenture’s supply chain capabilities, as well as adding experience in analytics, data strategy and modernisation, and helping organisations prepare for artificial intelligence adoption.
Founded in 1996, Camelot is a leading SAP partner in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and has headquarters in Mannheim.
Camelot also has offices in the US, UAE, Poland, Spain and Switzerland, and the Camelot team joining Accenture includes SAP, data and supply chain specialists.
Camelot also has an office in India, but due to administrative requirements in India, the completion of the acquisition of the shares in the Camelot India entity will occur at a later date.
The acquisition follows a number of other deals by Accenture in 2024, including acquiring marketing group Unlimited, the holding company of research agency Walnut, in April.
