Curtis (pictured) joins SAM from Relish, where he was insight director. He has previously held agency-side roles at MMR and Streetbees.

Curtis succeeds Tracey Sanderson who, after 15 years at Sensory Dimensions (now part of SAM), will head up the commercial strategy across the UK businesses in the new role of commercial director.

Yvonne Taylor, managing director of PPL for 18 years, will continue to manage the day-to-day operations of the SAM team based in Crawley, working alongside Curtis.

SAM acquired Sensory Dimensions in 2022 and PPL in 2023.

SAM offers sensory and consumer research services to FMCG companies in around 65 countries and operates from 19 facilities across France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the UK, Morocco, China and the US. The company is part of life sciences group Eurofins.

Eva Laparra, international business leader, SAM, said: "Adam brings a wealth of industry experience and has a great commitment to delivering value-added services for our clients."
