Arbitron’s Manish Bhatia to join comScore as chief revenue officer

US — Fresh from its senior-level reshuffle, comScore has appointed former Arbitron executive Manish Bhatia as chief revenue officer.

Bhatia (pictured) will report to Serge Matta, who takes over from Magid Abraham as CEO of comScore next month.

In his new role, Bhatia will oversee all of comScore’s commercial teams – including sales, servicing, sales operations and business operations – on a global basis. He will be based in New York.

Bhatia was most recently executive vice-president of new product innovation at Arbitron, where he focused on developing cross-media products and services which spanned TV, online and mobile platforms. These included Project Blueprint – a partnership with comScore and ESPN, which comScore is now looking to roll out more widely.

Prior to Arbitron, Bhatia served as president and CEO of Symphony Advanced Media and also worked in various roles at Nielsen, most recently serving as president of Nielsen’s advanced digital services, focusing on set-top box-based analytics and insights.
