ARF appoints programme lead for diversity scheme
Lynch will be responsible for managing and growing the Wide programme, which aims to improve the diversity and excellence of the marketing, research and data analytics workforce.
The initiative offers a scholarship and mentorship programme, and is focused on the research and insights functions of member companies – across marketers, media companies, agencies and research providers.
Prior to joining the ARF, Lynch founded his own marketing consultancy in November 2022, and before that he was senior vice-president of strategy at Digitas North America.
Scott McDonald, chief executive and president, ARF, said: “Over the last few years, we have seen firsthand the impact that Wide has been able to provide for the future of our workforce – from scholarships and mentorships to internships and post-graduate positions.
“As we look to continue this momentum, we are pleased to have Tom join us. I am confident that his extensive background in social justice, social enterprise and nonprofit fundraising will be instrumental in this next phase of programme growth for Wide.”
