Bianca Pryor named WIRe diversity champion
Pryor, who also chairs the Insights Association’s IDEA Council, leads research at NET Networks for consumer insights and content excellence.
She is part of Black Women in Artificial Intelligence and has launched a non-profit organisation focused on black maternal health and a peer-to-peer app, ‘Believe Her’, for black birthing people.
WIRe also named Laarni Paras, director of human intelligence at Edelman DxI, the silver award winner. Paras is a member of the Canadian Research Insights Council’s DEI Committee.
The annual WIRe MRX diversity champion award was developed six years ago to recognise individuals of all genders who are embracing diversity and encouraging investment in a diverse workforce in market research.
Tiffany Hays, founder of Fuel, this year’s award sponsor, said: “Talking about diversity in our industry is over. A commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion requires more than just words – it requires intention, social responsibility, and most of all, action.”
