Thomson (pictured) was previously research director at Ipsos UK for three-and-a-half years, having previously been associate director the company.

Other prior roles held by Thomson include spells at Sony Mobile, The Audience Business and Visit Scotland, and prior experience includes working in fast-moving consumer goods, technology and consumer healthcare.

Alison Gilbertson has also joined as analytics research director, with a background in statistics, research analytics, customer and market data, linking claimed and actual behaviour data, segmentations and customer strategy.

Before joining Boxclever, Gilbertson was customer analytics manager at Asda and has also held insight roles at Morrisons and Call Credit Information Group.

Gilbertson’s other past experience includes an almost eight-year spell at Millward Brown, time as a medical statistician at the University of Cambridge and as investor relations manager at ABN AMRO Bank NV.

Claire Boorman, director and co-founder at Boxclever, said: “2022 has been a really strong year for us and 2023 is shaping up to be much of the same. We are passionate, motivating and fun to work with and we love what we do.”
