This compares with a pre-tax profit on £4.29m in 2014 for revenues of £24.7m. In 2015 it achieved a 6% increase in operating profit to £4.6m.

John Kearon (pictured), chief juicer, BrainJuicer said: "We believe the market research industry will change more in the next 10 years than it has in the past 100 and BrainJuicer is extremely well positioned to benefit from a major system change. The growth of our core quantitative products gives us cause for continued optimism in the underlying momentum in the business and its long term upside potential."

He pointed to a number of initiatives the agency is launching this year including: a separate creative agency, System1 – Feel more: Buy more; adding some of its System1 research methods to ZappiStore; and publishing a booklet on behavioural science. Kearon also cited its graduate recruitment scheme, now in its third year, as a way of ensuring new talent is entering the business.
