Canvs AI recruits EVP marketing

US – Emotion and behaviour insights platform Canvs AI has named Trip Kucera executive vice-president of marketing.

Kucera (pictured) will be responsible for accelerating Canvas AI’s growth through brand awareness, thought leadership, digital and demand generation.

Before joining Canvs AI, Kucera was director of marketing at Blackbaud. Other previous positions include senior marketing roles at Dyn/Oracle and the Aberdeen Group.

Kucera joins the newly expanded Canvs leadership team, which also includes founder and chief executive Jared Feldman, chief technology officer George Kontos, chief data scientist Sam Hui, executive vice-president of product and platform Erinn Taylor, and director of sales Lisa Leung.

Feldman said: “Trip brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from successful technology companies and an extensive amount of experience around artificial intelligence, research and analytics across his career.

“Trip’s previous experience working with software-as-a-service companies and leading successful teams will undoubtedly contribute to Canvs’ growth at a pivotal time for the company. We are thrilled he’s joining the team.”
