The role will see Willman reviewing, tracking and reporting on various government and legislative issues and assessing their impact on the research industry. She will also coordinate a new US safe harbour programme for CASRO members.

“In her capacity as director of government and public affairs, Abby will work with our general counsel, Duane Berlin, our GPA committee, and the CASRO team to advocate on behalf of CASRO members and the US research industry itself,” said Diane Bowers, CASRO president.

“Given the FTC’s recent focus on enforcement of US EU Safe Harbour Certification regulations, it is especially important that Abby will be launching CASRO’s US Safe Harbour programme for our members.”
