Chime appoints Gill Rumbold to research director role

UK— Gill Rumbold has been appointed research director within the research and engagement division of marketing services group Chime.

Rumbold (pictured) will join the group in July with responsibility for heading up the research and analysis team and the cross-divisional advertising, brand and new product development function within the Facts International business.

During her career Rumbold has worked on the clientside with flavour and fragrance firm Givauden and on the agency side with Ipsos ASI and Pegram Walters, which is now part of Synovate.

Crispin Beale, chief executive of Chime’s research and engagement division, said: “Gill is a senior operator with many years experience gained in senior research positions on both the agency and clientside, and we’re delighted to have her as part of our team.

“Her appointment further demonstrates our commitment to attracting the brightest talent within the research sector and is another example of our business poaching a senior-level clientside researcher. Such calibre will only help us to prosper as we continue to grow.”
