CIE reports sixth year of growth
The increase in profits took it to £1.4m while operating income increased by 5% to £4.2m. Meanwhile, parent company, Chime Communications reported a 50% increase in operating profit taking it to £17.2m and operating income up 26% to £97.6m.
The company said a significant part of its growth was due to the launch of Watermelon, CIE’s digital research agency, as well as to its specialist qualitative recruitment agency, Cherry Picked.
CIE’s CEO, Crispin Beale, said: “Watermelon Research has shown incredible growth in its first two years, and Facts International has again shown its determination to be at the forefront of technology and leaders in its field, having recently been shortlisted as a finalist for the MRS Best Field Force of 2014 Award.”
