Gianatiempo (pictured) will be based in Cint’s newly opened San Francisco office and joins from the ad tech industry. He was most recently CRO for start-up, AdForge, and has also held senior sales roles at TubeMogul and SpotX.

Gianatiempo said: “It’s an exciting time in the ad tech arena, as the desire increases among advertisers for greater insights in to their customers’ path-to-purchase; and how new, panel-based audience data can support a 360-degree view of customer behaviour, to optimise ad budgets.”

San Francisco is Cint’s fifth US location – with other offices based in New York, Princeton, Los Angeles and Atlanta – under the overall management of Jake Wolff, North American managing director.

Cint’s deputy CEO Richard Thornton relocated to San Francisco to lead the NextGen strategy as part of the company’s increased focus on the US business.
