CoLab agrees strategic partnership with Basis and DJS Research
CoLab aims to bring together like-minded agencies, brands and consumers to address respondent quality issues in the industry, focused on respondent-first experiences in the market research industry.
Basis are founders of CoLab alongside Verve, and its strategic partnership with CoLab is aimed to bring fresh thinking to the way in which members are engaged.
UK-based research agency DJS Research bring skills in telephone and face-to-face research and recruitment, and also provide high-quality members to CoLab via their in-house Opinion Exchange panel.
Basis Group chief executive officer Rune Mortensen said: “Our industry faces some long-term challenges in relation to respondent quality, especially for quant surveys.
“We need agencies, clients and participants to work together to ensure that we can continue to deliver robust and reliable insights. That is exactly what CoLab has been designed for, and we are excited to work alongside other agencies to develop sustainable, long-term solutions in this space.”
DJS Research chairman Danny Sims added: “We’re very excited to be part of this collaboration between agencies working together to improve respondent quality.
“We carry out thousands of CAPI and CATI interviews every month, and this provides us with the opportunity to recruit high quality respondents – respondents where we have ‘seen the whites of their eyes’ – to CoLab’. CoLab gives us fast access to high-quality, engaged human research participants.”
