InSites Consulting bought Columinate in October 2018 to expand its operations in Africa. The Johannesburg office will remain the central research hub for the company in the region.

The new branding will take effect from this month.

Columinate is one of a number of acquisitions InSites Consulting has made in recent years. It also bought Paris-based crowdsourcing company eÿeka and insight and collaboration agency Join the Dots in 2019.
