Comscore names CIO

US – Media evaluation firm Comscore has promoted Brian Pugh to the role of chief information officer.

Pugh (pictured) joined Comscore in 2007 and has been executive vice-president product technology since June 2018.

He has held a number of executive-level positions across Comscore’s data science, analytics and product technology divisions, and worked on patents and product launches, including for Comscore Media Metrix Multi-Platform, Comscore Validated Campaign Essentials and Comscore’s Activation tools.

In his new role, Pugh will be responsible for technology tools, the security of Comscore data and achieving accreditations by organisations such as Media Rating Council.

David Algranati, chief product officer at Comscore, said: “Brian’s product vision has been at the heart of our product roadmap and success for nearly 15 years, and I am excited to have him take on an even more significant role in shaping the future of our company.”
