Confirmit and FocusVision agree merger
The merger, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2021. The two companies said the merger would help expand growth and innovation, with both organisations complementing the other’s work.
A spokesperson for Confirmit said that the branding, leadership team and staffing for the merged company would be announced once the merger had been officially completed.
The spokesperson added that the newly merged company is likely to appoint Kyle Ferguson (pictured), chief executive of Confirmit, as chief executive and Chris Nagy, chief executive of FocusVision, as president and chief financial officer, but that the companies were still in the planning phases.
Confirmit acquired data visualisation firm Dapresy Asia late last year, following its merger with Dapresy earlier in 2020.
Nagy said: “The merger of Confirmit and FocusVision is a perfect fit. We are complementary on every level and together we will be a great company, focused on excellence in everything we do.”
Ferguson said: “Together we will make the complex simple – from data collection to analysis, turning insights into stories that fuel action. We will create a truly world class, leading edge organisation, that brings real value to our clients and colleagues alike.”
