CRIC creates seal for accredited agencies
CRIC was formed in late 2018 to represent Canada’s market research sector following the sudden closure of the MRIA.
The new CRIC Accredited Agency Seal will recognise agencies who have committed to best practices and high standards and ethics in market research, analytics and insights.
CRIC has adopted the global standards established by Esomar and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) on market, opinion and social research and data analytics, and the organisation’s standards committee is developing additional standards to accommodate Canadian regulations.
To become accredited and receive the seal, companies must undergo an independent review of their practices, focusing on data collection, use and storage. CRIC will launch the accreditation process this autumn.
