Crowd Science sells to ad tech firm YuMe
YuMe CEO Jayant Kadambi said the company had been “laser-focused” on building up its audience measurement, modelling and targeting capabilities and saw Crowd Science as “the perfect complement to our data science group”.
Crowd Science was founded by John Martin, Paul Neto and John Wainwright in 2008. Martin and Neto were respectively a former software architect and technology and operations team leader at ComScore.
Martin (pictured) said of the deal: “The future of brand advertising will be defined by those with strong consumer data and broad reach in video across multiple platforms.”
