De Souza set to lead Readership Studies Council of India

INDIA— Lintas Media Group’s chairman and CEO Lynn de Souza is set to be named the first chairperson of the Readership Studies Council of India (RSCI), according to reports.

The RSCI is the body set up to oversee the merged Indian Readership Survey (IRS) and the National Readership Survey (NRS) – which was finalised last week by the Media Research Users’ Council (MRUC) and the National Readership Studies Council (NRSC), the owners respectively of the IRS and NRS.

Exchange4Media.com reports that MRUC member de Souza is understood to have been given the role of chairperson backed up by a committee of 20 members, with 10 each from the MRUC and the NRSC.
