DeBiase out, Kent named general manager at TNS Media
No reason has been given for DeBiase’s departure. It is not known whether he has another job to go to and he could not be reached for comment at the time of publication. He had been CEO of the business since March 2008.
TNS Media and its divisions – TNS Media Intelligence, TNS Media Research, Compete and Cymfony – recently became part of Kantar Media, a new unit formed following WPP’s acquisition of TNS.
Kent joined TNS in January 2008 as digital development director before being moved to director of corporate business development at Kantar Media.
Jean-Michel Portier, CEO of Kantar Media, said: “I have known Terry for years and am very pleased that he has agreed to take on this new challenge. His background in the media information and marketing research businesses and his breadth of experience, including corporate expansion activities in challenging environments, will be invaluable as we make the transition from TNS Media to Kantar Media.”
