Delineate acquires Opinion.Life
Opinion.Life was co-founded by Delineate chief executive officer James ‘JT’ Turner and Dr Zsolt Kiss in 2017 as a challenger polling company, using a proprietary set of algorithms built on data science and behavioural science to better predict consumer opinions.
Turner will be CEO for the enlarged group, and Kiss will become a non-executive director for Delineate, advising the company on data science methodologies.
Turner said the main driver for the purchase was to bring Opinion.Life’s predictive methodologies to a wider set of clients and across more products and services.
“Market research is going through a fundamental shift in how it collects, treats and reports data and insights, and we strongly believe in fusing the best of data science techniques with more traditional opinion research to create best-in-class products,” he said.
In addition, Delineate has posted full year revenue growth of 127% for it’s year ending January 2019.
Ben Leet, chief customer officer said: “Our core proposition is very strong, and now that we have completed our first acquisition, we are well on track to repeat that growth performance in 2019.”
