Dentsu hires Adobe regional sales lead

UK – Media firm Dentsu has appointed Mark Atkinson as vice-president Adobe Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) alliance and enterprise sales lead for the company’s customer experience management business Merkle.

Atkinson (pictured) will also work for Dentsu’s customer experience management service line, and will focus on commercial strategies across Emea in his new role.

In addition, Atkinson will support brands with technology investments, and his appointment is part of Merkle’s partnership with Adobe in the Emea region.

Atkinson was previously UK head of platform and specialist sales at Adobe and had spent seven years at the company in various software sales roles, including leading the UK sales strategy for Adobe’s ‘experience platform’ tool.

Nick McCarthy, senior vice-president, Emea alliances director at Merkle Emea and Dentsu Customer Experience Management Service Line Emea, said: “Adobe is a key partner for Merkle and our clients in delivering customer experience transformation programmes.

“Mark’s expertise in major client solutions built leveraging the Adobe technology, along with the network he brings with him, will drive even greater success in our partnership across the region.”
