Doran takes Sainsbury’s Bank insight role

UK — Sainsbury’s Bank has hired Mick Doran as its new head of customer insights and innovation.

Doran was previously head of strategic insights at Heineken where he had worked for the past six years.

While at Heineken he established its shopper segmentation framework designed to reflect changing drinking patterns, in particular the growing no- and low-alcohol sector.

Prior to his roles at the brewer, he worked at PepsiCo in a number of international insight roles including a stint as innovation insights manager for Asia, based in Bangkok.

In his current role he will be based at Sainsbury’s Bank Edinburgh headquarters.
