Dubit appoints global trends VP

UK — Youth research agency Dubit has hired David Kleeman as senior vice-president of global trends based in New York.

Kleeman is a strategist, analyst, author and speaker, and is best known for his work as president of the American Center for Children and Media, an executive round table and professional development hub promoting the exchange of ideas, expertise and information.

He is also advisory board chair to the international children’s TV festival (Prix Jeunesse), a 2013 senior fellow of the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media, a board member of the National Association for Media Literacy Education, and a governor of the Television Academy. 

Dubit said that at the agency he will investigate: new trends in kids entertainment and education; creative digital media content and distribution; best practices in playful learning; and thoughtful integration of child development and research across media, technology, toys and games among other things.

Dubit has offices in Los Angeles, New York, Leeds, London, and Melbourne; current clients include PBS Kids, Mattel, Sky, MBC3, Cartoon Network, and Viacom.
