Dunnhumby hires media agency lead

UK – Data science firm Dunnhumby has appointed Uche Ofili as head of media agency in the UK.

Ofili (pictured) was previously head of digital at McCann and has also held roles as Mediacom and MediaEdge.

In his new role, Ofili will lead Dunnhumby’s media agency relationships in the UK, including its new Tesco Media and Insights Platform.

The Tesco Media and Insights Platform was launched earlier this month, and will bring together data from Tesco Clubcard and in-store insights with Dunnhumby’s data science tools to provide insight on its customers to brands and their agencies.

Julie Jeancolas, head of and customer engagement at Dunnhumby, said: “Uche Ofili has a wealth of experience in working with some of the UK’s leading media agencies and publishers.

“We’re excited to have him join Dunnhumby, and look forward to building even stronger relationships with the industry as we build on our retail media propositions in the year ahead.”
