Based in Sydney, Brown joins Dynata as vice-president, Australia. He was previously global managing director of sales and operations at online research platform Grow.

Brown, who has worked at Dynata previously, will lead the company’s Australia and New Zealand commercial strategy and innovation efforts.

Fegan joins the company as vice-president, North Asia, based in Hong Kong. He will lead the development and execution of the strategy across North Asia.

Fegan has held various senior management and business development roles at businesses including Kantar, Nielsen and Dynata, where he previously worked for six years. He has worked in Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore and Japan, before moving to Hong Kong in 2016.

In Singapore, Dynata has appointed Carter as country manager. He will be responsible for driving growth and delivering value for clients across Southeast Asia. Carter joins Dynata from global dairy business Fonterra, where he was global head of insights. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer at Kantar in Singapore, and has spent 11 years in research agencies in Shanghai, and a decade as a professional chef in Australia.

Mark Lepine, managing director, Asia-Pacific, Dynata, said: “As we enter a transformative phase of our journey across the Apac region, these strategic appointments will be instrumental in shaping our innovation agenda and further enhancing our ability to provide businesses with first-party data of unmatched quality.

“I look forward to accelerating Dynata’s success with Derek, Michael and Russell: their wealth of expertise, in-depth knowledge of the Asia-Pacific region and exceptional track records in driving revenue growth, will empower our clients to make better, faster business decisions.”
