Karg (pictured) will succeed Michael Greenlees who has been chief executive officer of Ebiquity for the past eight years.

Since 2013, Karg has been CEO of Publicis Groupe’s digital agency Razorfish, having previously been its – and Digitas’ – chief operating officer.

At Razorfish he was responsible for growth and development in Europe, India, China, South East Asia and Australia.

Greenlees will remain on the Board as an executive director until the transition has been completed and will then work in an advisory capacity for Ebiquity for a further two years.

Michael Higgins, Ebiquity chairman, said: “Michael has considerable experience across our industry particularly in digital marketing and in growing businesses on a global scale. He has amassed a wealth of international experience and has an impressive and proven track record in building marketing businesses.”
