Esomar chief executive to leave next month
Khan (pictured) will focus on charitable and non-executive roles supporting early-stage ventures in areas including gender equity, data and technology, before taking up a new role to be announced in due course.
Esomar has also appointed Khan to a new artificial intelligence (AI) taskforce led by Esomar president Ray Poynter.
Khan was also recently selected by the UN Commission as a UK delegate on the status of women, and has a book called The Power of Women due out next year.
Poynter said: “I have enjoyed working with Parves, who brought strong leadership during her tenure, fresh perspectives, and something quite new to the Esomar mix. I am really looking forward to working with Parves on the topic of AI.”
Khan said: “While I am sad to be leaving Esomar, and will particularly miss working with the team and regularly connecting with Esomar members, I am looking forward to dedicating myself more fully to my efforts to making a difference for girls and women, especially women in tech.
“In addition, I am honored by the invite to be part of the AI taskforce and contributing to this important topic.”
