Ex-Buckingham MD joins InSites Consulting in London

UK— Former Buckingham Research managing director Paul Nola has joined Belgian online research agency InSites Consulting as research director in the firm’s London office.

Nola was made Buckingham MD in February 2008, having previously worked for KAE: Marketing Intelligence, a sister company to Buckingham in the Optimisa group. Before that he was with the Boston Consulting Group.

He left Buckingham at the end of November and starts with InSites at the beginning of March.

News of Nola’s new role comes as Optimisa prepares to relaunch its research businesses – Buckingham, Quaestor and Andrew Irving Associates – under the unified brand of Optimisa Research, led by CEO Michelle Norman.

Norman said there was no call for a separate MD for Buckingham in the new integrated business structure, meaning the firm will not be looking to appoint a direct replacement.

Joining Nola at InSites is Philip Cooper, who takes up the role of UK senior research manager, following stints at Gusto Research and Quaestor.

InSites’ London office was launched last summer by managing partner Christophe Vergult.
