Explorer Research expands in Europe
Explorer Research is currently based in Toronto, London and Chicago, where it runs in-lab experiential research.
The expansion in Europe will help Explorer Research offer a consistent approach to clients across the world and supports its full-service shopper insights work.
Explorer Research’s expansion will also build on Savanta’s existing shopper capabilities in Europe, including retail environment design and behavioural and media optimisation.
Savanta acquired Explorer Research in December 2023.
Mike Moussallem, president at Explorer Research, said: “Since our partnership began with Savanta, we’ve seen the huge opportunities for our business outside of the US and Canada, and in particular in Europe, where so many major fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and retail companies are based.
“At such a pivotal time for the global FMCG sector, we’re delighted that Explorer Research can offer a consistent approach to clients across the world.”
Olly Warren, vice-president Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) at Savanta, said: “Following our successful UK expansion, the next organic move for us is the Emea market via the Netherlands – which is already is already a global hub for the FMCG sector.
“Savanta is already rightly seen as a market leader in consumer market research, so our work with the Explorer Research team in shopping and innovative pack testing is simply about growing our existing capabilities, in a new and exciting way.”
