Facebook launches mobile ad network
According to the announcement on the company’s website, the network enables advertisers to extend campaigns beyond Facebook and into other mobile apps, while allowing access to Facebook’s features such as ad targeting and measurement tools.
According to tech news site TechCrunch, this will allow developers to make money without having to sell their own ads – Facebook handles targeting, measurement and payment (taking a cut of what advertisers pay).
