Hill (pictured) previously helped develop and later led the business development function at Firefish, spending 18 years in total at the company.

At The Mix, Hill will lead the growth of the business globally, bridging sales and marketing as well as promoting the company’s work in insight and cultural intelligence.

The Mix is based in London and New York and is an insight and cultural intelligence agency.

Tash Walker, co-founder at The Mix, said: “When we were looking for someone to lead the business development team globally, Martyn was one of the first people that came to mind.

“So many people I spoke to said he would be the perfect fit and I am so glad he chose to make the leap to us as we go out to tell more of the world about our unique strategically-driven and creatively-charged business

Hill added: “I have followed The Mix’s journey for many years now and, when the call came, I knew I had to answer.

“The fact that they have always been about being commercially impactful through great insight and strategy, combined with their powerful creative capabilities and outputs that really brings people and opportunities to life for their clients, is so inspiring.”
