FlexMR creates stakeholder engagement service

UK – Insight agency FlexMR has launched a service to help client insight teams alter how market research is communicated to stakeholders and encourage more regular interaction with insight.

The service, called Sprint Review Service, is designed to mimic the same format as development sprint reviews, and seeks to add to the typical project-based research experience with regular check-ins, adjustments and debriefs.

A sprint review is typically a regularly held collaborative meeting that sees team members summarise work that has been completed on a project.

This programme will use FlexMR’s insight activation tool ActivateMR, which helps researchers to curate and communicate insights.

With the new Sprint Review Service, FlexMR said it aimed to allow insight teams engage stakeholders in research more often and encourage collaboration, using stakeholder knowledge to fuel research experiences.

The company said that this programme is not designed to replace debriefs altogether, as debriefs are still valuable tools connecting stakeholders to current research projects, but rather create additional touchpoints and opportunities to communicate real-time insights, edit research tasks and trajectory based on current stakeholder challenges.

Paul Hudson (pictured), chief executive officer at FlexMR, said: “We are excited about what this new service will mean for our clients’ future research experiences.

“Moving away from project-based research and creating a regular cycle of engagement with customer feedback will provide more value to insight teams and stakeholders in the long-term by informing more decisions more often through agile sprint reviews.”

FlexMR’s client relationship manager Charlotte Duff added: “We have seen the sprint review format work brilliantly in our development team and is something we believe will benefit our clients greatly.

“The format brings the whole stakeholder team together regularly, helping them get closer to research, and building a much more collaborative approach to research. The process brings a new level of agility to not only our clients research programmes but also to the way insight is shared across the organisation and in turn their decision making.”
