Former Amazon Ads exec joins IRI
Clemens (pictured) will work with FMCG brands and their media agencies to grow IRI’s media business across Europe, deploying its measurement services in media and advertising.
He joins the business from Amazon Advertising, where he built the global accounts team, working with FMCG advertisers. He began his career with Procter & Gamble and has also led the strategy practice for Effective Brands (now Kantar Consulting).
IRI’s closed loop media tools include marketing mix modelling and measurement of sales performance.
Jennifer Pelino, executive vice-president, head of global media solutions at IRI, said: “The need for data, insight and connected systems has become vital for ensuring the most effective decision-making. We welcome Clemens to the team.”
