Forsta launches qualitative research management tool

UK – Market research and customer and employee experience firm Forsta has created a qualitative research tool for planning, monitoring and carrying out video focus groups.

The tool, called Forsta Discussions, will work within Forsta’s Human Experience platform and will seek to make it easier to extend existing research programmes and carry out analysis on video focus groups on the platform, as well as complement other research formats, such as diary studies or surveys.

Forsta Discussions will capture feedback from participants or customers, and allows for users to schedule, conduct and observe sessions within an online management dashboard and video meeting interface.

Other features include video focus group moderation and observation, including participant management, a virtual backroom and in-built security capabilities.

Tobi Andersson, managing director of market research at Forsta, said: “Focus groups and in-depth interviews are a crucial component of good qualitative research to fully understand the motivations and feelings of customers and research participants.

“With Discussions, we’re creating an easy-to-use space for two-way conversation that focuses on human connection with customers and participants.”
