Gartner grows revenue in Q4

US – Research and advisory company Gartner has reported a 7% increase in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The company said its revenue was $1.1bn for the final quarter of the year. Net income was $84m, while while EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), excluding divested operations, increased 6% to $211m.

Fourth quarter revenue from the company’s research division, excluding divested operations, was up 9% to $796m.

Gartner’s full-year revenue was $4bn, up 20% compared to 2017.

Gene Hall, chief executive officer, Gartner, said: “We continue to achieve sustained, free cash flow growth and have resumed our share repurchase program to return capital to shareholders.”
