The company said the Initial Public Offering will be on October 21st, 2014 and that it would help with the continuing improvement and expansion of its key products GMO Market Observer and Asia Cloud Panel.

Shinichi Hosokawa, CEO of GMO Research said its aim was to make these products the standard choice in the Japanese research market and the IPO would help in that strategy. “We are planning to invest more in expansion in Asia and in a system to fit the needs of Asian countries,” he said.
